Tulsa County Transitional Living Center
Tulsa County Social Services – Transitional Living Center (TLC)
The TLC program helps people who are going through hard times and don’t have a place to stay. We serve men, women, couples, and families who are temporarily homeless. Each family gets a furnished room to stay in and joins classes that teach about money, jobs, and life skills.
Our goal is to help people move into stable housing within 90 days, depending on how much housing is available and what challenges each person or family is facing. People can stay longer if they are saving money for housing and using the lessons they learn in the program.
Every person in the program is required to meet one-on-one with our staff to create a personal plan. Together, we work on reaching important goals like:
- Getting and keeping a job
- Paying off debt
- Saving money for housing and emergencies
- Living on a budget
- Finding and keeping affordable housing
