Haikey Creek Park

About the Park

The park is named after C. Ben Haikey, who was a preacher and a tribal member of the Union Band of Opotheleyahola Creek, known today as the Muscogee Nation. He began preaching the gospel in 1901 under a brush arbor on his allotment, in what now is Haikey Creek Park. The county acquired the 170.26 acre property from 1970-1985. Haikey Creek Park is the only park in Tulsa County where you can stand in two places at one time -  Bixby, OK to the west and Broken Arrow, OK to the east.
