Get ready for a spectacular summer with Tulsa County Parks! 

Campers will engage in teamwork, creativity, and exploration as they embark on thrilling adventures in Art, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and Athletics! Every week is jam-packed with excitement, from engaging field trips to refreshing swimming sessions, hands-on arts and crafts, invigorating nature hikes, and so much more! Join us for a summer filled with exploration, play, and endless sunshine!

Ages: 6-12 years old *Must be 6 years-old by camp start date. *Must not be older than 12 before start date.

Schedule: (please note your child will be attending before/after care for staffing purposes)  

  • Before Care: 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.  
  • Camp: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  
  • After Care: 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.  

Before care and after care included in the entire price.  

Fee: $165 per week Price includes week of camp activities, t-shirt, field trip, expert speaker, swim day. Activity fee of $15 to hold place for camper (Fee goes toward initial cost of camp)

Payment Deadlines: Tulsa County Parks Department accepts payment of cash and credit card (Visa, MC, Discover). Full payment is due the Monday before the registered week. One week in advance

Kick off an unforgettable summer at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer with Week 1: Nature Unleashed! Campers will dive into the wonders of the great outdoors, exploring the beauty and power of nature through hands-on activities, exciting adventures, and creative projects. 

Field Trip Highlight: Oxley Nature Center 
Campers will embark on a thrilling journey to Oxley Nature Center, where they’ll hike scenic trails, observe wildlife, and discover the incredible ecosystems that make up Tulsa’s natural landscape. 

From nature-themed crafts to interactive games and outdoor challenges, this week is the perfect start to a summer full of fun, learning, and adventure! 

Gear up for an action-packed week at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer with Week 2: Xtreme Fun! This high-energy adventure is all about speed, movement, and pushing the limits of excitement. 

Field Trip Highlight: Hardesty National BMX Stadium 
Campers will hit the track and ride like a champion at Hardesty National BMX Stadium! They’ll get the chance to experience the thrill of BMX riding firsthand, testing their skills on the course while learning bike safety and techniques from the pros. 

With thrilling obstacle courses, fast-paced games, and adrenaline-pumping challenges, this week is perfect for campers who love adventure and excitement. Get ready to go full throttle into fun!  

Step up to the plate for an action-packed week of Spectacular Sports at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer! Campers will dive into the world of sports, teamwork, and friendly competition while trying out a variety of athletic activities. 

Field Trip Highlight: Tulsa Drillers Home Game 
Campers will cheer on the Tulsa Drillers at ONEOK Field, experiencing the excitement of live baseball!  They’ll get a true game-day experience while learning about sportsmanship and the thrill of the game. 

With skills challenges, fun competitions, and new sports to explore each day, this week is perfect for young athletes and sports fans alike. Get ready to play, cheer, and have a ball! 

Get ready for a journey through music, history, and storytelling during Week 4: An Adventure of a Lifetime at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer! This week, campers will explore the power of creativity, expression, and the legendary voices that shaped American music. 

Field Trip Highlights: The Bob Dylan Center & Woody Guthrie Museum 
Campers will step into the world of two music icons with visits to The Bob Dylan Center and Woody Guthrie Museum. They’ll discover how these legendary artists used music to tell stories, inspire change, and shape culture. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities, campers will uncover their own creative voices! 

From songwriting and art projects to storytelling and musical games, this week will inspire campers to embrace their inner adventurers and express themselves in new and exciting ways. 

In Observance of Independence Day, there will not be camp Friday, July 4.  

Lights, camera, action! Week 5: Shining Stars at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer is all about stepping into the spotlight and exploring the magic of the performing arts. Whether it’s acting, dancing, singing, or storytelling, campers will have a blast expressing themselves in creative ways! 

Field Trip Highlight: Tulsa Performing Arts Center Campers will take center stage with a special visit to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, where they’ll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the world of theater. They’ll explore the art of performance, learn about stage production, and maybe even step onto the same stage where professionals perform! 

With drama games, improv challenges, music, and dance, this week is perfect for campers who love to shine. Get ready for a star-studded adventure full of creativity, confidence, and fun! 

 

Cool off and glide into an exciting week of fun with Week 6: Skating Through Summer at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer! This week is all about balance, movement, and trying new skills on the ice while staying active and having a blast. 

Field Trip Highlight: WeStreet Ice Center 
Campers will lace up their skates and hit the ice at WeStreet Ice Center! Whether they're first-time skaters or experienced gliders, they'll have the chance to learn basic skating techniques, build confidence on the rink, and enjoy a cool adventure in the middle of summer. 

With winter-themed games, teamwork challenges, and plenty of frosty fun, this week is perfect for campers who love to move, explore, and try something new. Get ready to skate, spin, and glide through summer! 

Dive into an underwater adventure during Week 7: Fintastic Fun at Tulsa County Parks Spectacular Summer! This week, campers will explore the wonders of aquatic life, from fascinating fish to incredible ocean creatures, all while enjoying hands-on activities and marine-themed games. 

Field Trip Highlight: The Oklahoma Aquarium Campers will take a deep dive into discovery with a visit to The Oklahoma Aquarium! They’ll walk through a shark tunnel, get up close with sea turtles and stingrays, and learn about the amazing creatures that call our oceans, rivers, and lakes home. 

With water-themed crafts, ocean exploration activities, and fun fishy facts, this week will be a splashing good time! Get ready to swim into adventure and make some fintastic memories!

Campers will visit Purple Glaze, where they’ll get hands-on with pottery and ceramics, creating their own masterpieces! Whether it’s painting a plate or decorating a mug, this creative adventure will have campers tapping into their artistic side while learning new techniques and having a blast. 

From crafting to painting, building to designing, this week will be all about experimenting, creating, and letting creativity run wild. Get ready for a week of colorful fun and artistic chaos!

Field Trip Highlight: Incredible Pizza Company 
Campers will head to Incredible Pizza Company, where they'll enjoy an action-packed day filled with arcade games, go-kart racing, mini golf, and, of course, delicious pizza! From thrilling rides to fun challenges, this day will be the ultimate celebration of fun and freedom. 

With team games, creative competitions, and plenty of opportunities to let loose, this week is perfect for campers who want to make the most of their summer and finish with a blast! Get ready for a week of freedom, fun, and unforgettable memories!

Registration must be done online. Openings in camp sessions are first-come, first serve.

Everyday essential items include a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and lunch in a backpack or bag. Please label your child’s name on all of their belongings.

Lunch, snacks, and drinks should be brought daily (unless otherwise noted). Lunches will be stored in campers’ cubbies. Please do not send lunches that require refrigeration or use of a microwave. No nuts or Peanut Butter.

Campers will venture out on one major outing a week. Camp staff will take campers on a field trip using a 12-passenger van. All trips are paid for, but campers may bring extra spending money.

Comfortable summer clothes! Shorts, t-shirts, tank tops (no midriffs), and sneakers. NO SANDALS. On field trip days, campers are to wear the day camp shirt that is provided.

The camp will consist of counselors under the general supervision of the Center Activities Coordinator and Recreation Leaders.

  • 6 - 8 years old: one staff member to eight campers
  • 9 - 12 years old: one staff member to ten campers
