District 3 Highway Maintenance

 

Brian Malone began his career with Tulsa County in 1984 as a Highway Construction Operator. He then worked his way up through highway engineering, gaining experience as a Bridge Worker, Maintenance Lead, Foreman, and was hired for his current role as Maintenance Supervisor in 2022. As Maintenance Supervisor, Malone is responsible for overseeing all upkeep of county roads in District 3. Malone coordinates maintenance of streets, roads, bridges, and rights-of-ways. He manages four supervisors who oversee a total of 18 employees in Highway Maintenance.  Malone is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his staff. He carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Tulsa County’s policies and applicable laws. 

Malone graduated from Glenpool Public Schools where he also received vocational training in Auto Mechanics. He received his Roads Scholar certificate in 2012, and the IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician certification in 2018. He’s also participated in the Supervisory Development Program and Paving Professionals Workshop.
