  • Who We Are
  • The Tulsa County Local Emergency Planning Committee (TCLEPC) is a non-profit community organization comprised of police and fire emergency response personnel, industry and environmental representatives, news media, and interested citizens of Tulsa County. TCLEPC members work together to develop plans to educate, communicate and protect our local community in case of a chemical release.

  • Oklahoma Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Commission
  • The Oklahoma Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Commission (OHMERC) is the State Emergency Response Commission mandated under the 1986 Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act, Title III (SARA Title III). OHMERC convenes under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act; the public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Scheduled meetings are generally held in the First Floor Multi-Purpose room of the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in Oklahoma City, 707 N. Robinson. The Ad Hoc Committee meets at the request of the OHMERC. For questions regarding OHMERC meetings, contact Jami Murphy at 405-702-1011.

  • The Chemical Safety Board is an independent federal agency charged with investigating industrial chemical accidents. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the agency's board members are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.
